Southport

An afternoon visit into Southport for a couple of hours. This once proud seaside town probably hit rock bottom a few years ago and at last it feels like it is turning a corner. Some of the old shops have been reopened along with a few new cafes. It was very pleasant sitting in the sun drinking coffee on Lord Street.

An overcast morning turned into a warm and sunny afternoon.
