New Skipper

I’ve not been sleeping as well as I usually do (which is something in close proximity a log). I awake with an active mind, and the last two nights I’ve lain awake with my mind whirring away thinking of what to say at the memorial thing after the funeral. Which is still more than a week away. Thoughts spinning round and round. So I did what my mind has been telling me to do – sit and write something. 
It's a start. In fact, it may well do. 
And I did one other thing. Can you imagine, I’d left a fender dangling over the side for a whole week. An easy thing to scoot over in Dumbo and attend to, but why just do that when there was someone else as part of our household membership who had never piloted the fine craft? And would benefit from the tuition. Emergencies n’that.
And later, the last episode of The Rehearsal Series Two with Nathan Fielder. A quite brilliant and unique docu-comedy series (yes, I’m reading Wikipedia to find what genre it could possibly be). I think we may have to go back and view Series One.
