Barnsley Baby

Is the name of this lavatera. It hasn’t flowered before, so this is progress.
In the morning I had a video chat with my old work team, always a good thing. Then I took Portia up to the vet. I told them she would not let them take a blood sample without sedating her first. But they tried and soon she was in a terrible state, had to be given oxygen. It wasn’t the nice vet who knows her quite well. Then she did have an anaesthetic and they took blood and urine,and did an ultrasound scan of her abdomen. They had to shave all the fur off her tummy first. They think from the scan that she doesn’t have cancer. I asked about something to improve her appetite, but they gave her an anti nausea drug. She still isn’t eating….
