Scarborough North Bay
A morning were R’s breathing and cough strength were tested. Although slightly compromised it is within normal ranges and hasn’t changed since the last test in March. Good news as I am about to have a week away.
Noticed some noise coming from behind an old fireplace in our bedroom. As I removed the panel I nearly jumped out of my skin as a beady eye appeared. A young pigeon had fallen down the chimney. Although not a fan of pigeons I felt it needed help. I put it by some water which it drank and seemed to be unscathed. Later it flapped onto my neighbour’s garage before making itself scarce. However the aftermath of its visit took a lot of clearing up!
This afternoon we went to Scarborough for a walk round Peasholme Lake and a wander along the sea front. Lots of the beach huts were being used. Good to see the Lifeguards being vigilant on the beach.
Just got back before the heavens opened and caught the end of The Tour de France. What an epic climb!
