There is a very famous wreck of a DC-3 in the middle of nowhere in Iceland. Rotting away to a wreck, it is a magnet for photographers.

Akureyri, northern Iceland today. We accidentaly stumbled across an aircaft museum while exploring today. At least my wife thinks it was an accident...
