MV Hoy Head

As trailed yesterday, there are now four women in Creel HQ, all ex-teachers at that.  Tomorrow they, and others, will celebrate 50 yrs since they all met at Teacher Training College in Aberdeen.  (You may all like to steer clear of the Kirkwall Hotel).  So, maniacal cackling has been the order of the day, along with tea and cake.  As part of my preparations I asked CMC about the Salad Spinner (I thought it was his day off) but it has returned.  The pressure’s on, all bets are off.  Immediately after cutting the grass it became dreich.  As ever the reliable Hoy Head plys its trade under the Hoy Hills and across Scapa Flow.
