That's my cue

...cumbers.

I've spent the day in the garden doing all sorts of chores. I came inside for the hottest hours and then went back. It's been cloudy, but hot. 

I was tending to my succulents. And I thought that I did all. But when I took this picture I saw more pots in the background and I had to do 7 more. I took all the succulents out of the greenhouse as the tomatoes and cucumbers are growing and taking space. I did some succulent pruning (I'm trying to make the pots more even), gave them water and a bit of fertilizer. I want them strong for the winter. I'll show you one day how many new pots I have. And I got lots of cut leaves today. And every leaf is a possible new plant. So.... I'm running out of space inside. 


But tending to these plants is a little like cutting bonsai trees. I aim to make the plant and the pots as pretty as possible, I try different things and see how many ways it will make new rosettes. It's an amazing plant and so very beautiful. 


But cucumbers I can eat :-D
