Cooking

I went shopping today, and the weather forecast was good, so we decided to have our fire this evening. Here we are getting the fire hot enough before letting it die down to embers to cook on. I really like our new fire place, the seats are made from the oak tree which fell earlier this year. Most of the roundels were split for firewood (and that’s what I have been taking to the woodshed every day) but we saved the rest for seats and a fireplace.

I went to visit Joe today and also for a walk along the Nith. Lots of families were out in Dock Park, enjoying the school holidays and the warm weather.
