Death OR Dinner?

A rather engaging gent has started a Facebook page on which he identifies wild produce that has medicinal properties or which can be used for food, OR is definitely dangerous to eat. He always starts his mini videos with 'Hello Sausages', introduces the day's plant and asks, 'Is it Death or Dinner?'

I was reminded of this while travelling along the jitty behind Forest Street and seeing all these cherries in the gutter. Are they ornamental or edible? Not that I'd want to pick them out of the gutter.

I gather England won their semi-final from the roar of the crowd on the TV which I could hear while writing this.
