Sweats

My day was close to a repeat of Monday. 

It was interesting at times, and dull at others. Does that count as variety? Summer recess is always an odd time anyway, with so much of the voting public away on holiday and their elected representatives having to adjust to less pressure. 

It does give them an opportunity to break out in cold sweats about the election in May 2026. With good reason, at least in our part of the political sphere. I predict the First Minister's voice will have gone up an octave by October. 

You can only put a finite amount of lipstick on a pig. 

As usual my quiet time during my lunch break was very welcome, and one of the day's highlights.
