Ozzy Osbourne

Yes this photo wasn't from today. I had actually taken a charming photo of a seagull. However when I found out Ozzy Osbourne had died, I couldn't not post a photo of him. I took this grainy photo on my old Phone. It's from the 19th of may 2012. They played a secret warm-up gig before headlining download festival. It was at the Birmingham O2 academy. It was sold out but had a capacity of 3,000 people so for black Sabbath very intimate. I have no idea how I got lucky enough to get tickets, but I did and it was the best gig of my life. Black Sabbath have been my favourite band since I was a teenager and have had a huge influence on me and many others. I also just want to say that Ozzy Osbourne was a funny, caring, intelligent and deeply insightful person. It really annoys me when people reference his time on the osbornes or his drunken wild drug fuelled episodes. He was someone who was a victim of the music he made and also somebody who struggled with addiction. I'll be forever grateful for the contribution he made to music and by extension my life.
