Last day for a while with Flo as Julia was driving back today. I had my first stint at the library for the summer reading challenge. It was busy for a while but was quiet at times! Apparently two thousand children in Plymouth have signed up already and some have even read all six books, not the idea! The hope is that they will enjoy reading throughout the summer holidays! Sadly because I offered a Tuesday I cannot do chi gong as the times clash.

I had bought a rotiserried chicken for an exorbitant price last Saturday and last night stripped off all the chicken and made some soup from the carcasse so today when Julia got back I had washed the sheets and towel and put them in the drier and there was chicken soup to eat. She had been driving the van and it was not easy for her as she was bashed in the rear and the car was a write off. So she is struggling with PTSD from that the day before her father’s funeral! So when she got back we decanted stuff from her car and then had a cup,of tea followed by soup and then she drove me home! Tomorrow she will pop down for a reflexology session which I know will ease some of the trauma!
