Climate Refugees

Here we are in Rio de Janeiro at the start of a stay of a few weeks to escape the worst of the Barcleona and Costa Brava weather.   Tonight it was a very pleasant 21C, and day-time temperatures range from 22-26c.

A very early start took us to CDG for a five-hour lay over, before the comfortable 777-328 ER plane brought us to Rio in about 11 hours.

Our flat is looking good, and we had a walk out for a choppe beer and pasteis at 4am our body time.

A visit this time of year may well take over as the focus of our annual trip, rather than December and January of recent years.
