Hibiscus moscheutos

Rose mallow or marsh mallow is a native hibiscus here in the south. It can be white, hot pink, or many shades in between. It’s a native medicinal as well, It’s very beautiful.
We visited the refuge as it the heat index was 106’F and too hot to work in the yard. Not many animals were stirring either.
Moses killed another chicken today. I thought we had that solved with the shock collar but apparently not. I hate it. We will just have to be more vigilant and purposeful in training. I thought they were all in the coop but apparently I had an escapee.
