Two short walks yesterday
Writing this on the following morning and I can’t remember what I did yesterday morning - early brain fog - waiting for my first booster meds of the day. It will come back to me.
In the afternoon I was suffering from suffering abdominal cramps - not S bad as they once were but uncomfortable. I’d arranged a zoom chat with Lyn to talk about the RPS bookmaking making process she’d been involved with and she was delayed, so I took myself on a Dance Lane walk, which I know I can do in less than 30 mins. The metal crate, which I’ve featured before many times marks the end if the lane where I spotted what I thought were two green-veined white butterflies. They are much more delicate than the small white and flitter about somewhat more. I managed a very, very poor phone shot of one at rest that was half hidden by foliage. Good enough for me to see the veined pattern on the wings but it good enough to share. I have photographed them before locally, and one year I discovered a spot in a field boundary where they were numerous.
My second walk through the village was after I’d taken my 4pm meds, which I thought would alleviate the stomach cramps. I took some Buscopan too, and both helped. I bit as far as the place where these succulent plants are growing- just short if the playground. I’m going to stop here because it’s time to take my meds and I’m making lots of typing mistakes on my iPad.
