Our old bull Gough died a couple of months ago and rather than buy a new one, I kept one of the three young bulls I was about to send to the saleyards. That’s him on the left with the blue ear tag and his name’s Kevin (we name all our bulls after Australian prime ministers.)
When Gough died it saved his bacon or more accurately, his beef.
