Drizzle deniers

We woke late, but with the first sound being the rain on the skylight, I for one was in no rush to start the day.

This meant that there was time to remain in bed with a brew or two and catch up on some blipping action.

Unfortunately, I get a little restless after a while and don’t like us all having too much screen time, so eventually we headed out to Grange over Sands, where it wasn’t actually sunny for once.

We did score a couple of bits from the local charity shop and then braved the drizzle to go and have a kick about at the five aside court, which was good fun and surprisingly warm.

We made our way home and chilled out in front of the golf for a bit before all the family turned up for Pizza Saturday, which was great fun. The food disappeared in an incredibly short space of time, but it was good to hang out with everyone as we started the holidays.
