Red tassels

I enjoyed Zumba class this morning returning home for coffee and breakfast. A day of mixed weather with a few raindrops occasionally falling.

Late afternoon when it brightened up and looked like it wasn’t going to rain l went down to the allotment. I planted in the chard seedlings after some weeding and ended up spending longer than l anticipated there. The corn cobs are growing well and one of them had these crimson coloured tassels, the others are all yellow. Maybe it’s one of the two mini sweetcorn plants l planted. The rest of the packet of seeds didn’t germinate.
