Spinnaker

We were up at 5am to drive to Portsmouth for the ferry to Le Havre. We arrive at 6.30 and we have an hours drive to our hotel in Lisieux with table booked for 8.30 in the restaurant.
Sailing out of Portsmouth was visually interesting with warships modern and historic, as well as the iconic buildings of the harbour. The main is the "long" Spinnaker Tower that towers over the harbour at 170 meters. Many thanks to Bob for hosting Wide Wednesday.
The extra is HMS Warrior, a 40-gun steam powered armoured frigate. Build in 1860 it was one of the first armour-plated iron-hulled warships.
