A Gorgeous Day

The weather forecast warned us of a change in the weather as from this evening. We are entering into a period of rain, storms and cooler temperatures.  There was no hesitation, I planned to go off on one of my escapades early this morning and left home at 7:30 am.

Destination: Montreux with a stopover in Vevey and return by steamboat.

The temperature was a delicious 24C with a perfect refreshing breeze.
Exceptionally, I bought a first class ticket on the boat, mainly because several groups of excited (noisy/enthusiastic) children had got on at the same time as me, but also, I was two floors up and got a great view!

When it's raining this weekend, I'll have this wonderful day out to remember!

P.S.
I just doubled the size of my main shot as I noticed that it didn't fill the frame, which was a pity!
