Do I suck or blow!

This picture was shared with me when we collected Amber from kennels this evening, it was taken by her pal who has been caring for her for last 24 hrs.

The hospital trip and investigation for B has been successful, but mind blowingly boring today. An early start and 40 minutes drive to the hospital got us there in good time. We picked the wrong car park as we weren’t aware where the treatment centre was, which caused some problems at the end of the visit.

We were in and seated by 8.45am, for a 9am appointment. B was taken through at 10am and I had to waited until 12.15 for them to complete the procedure. It was a busy waiting area serving several clinics, so I took the advantage of people moving about, to stretch my legs every half an hour. The knitting kept me occupied.

The nurse kindly brought me a coffee, twice during the wait, plus a small pack of biscuits. I was needing it as the slice of toast at 7.30am had been utilised by that stage!!

I then had fun in retrieving the car and collecting B from the other side of the hospital. The kind nurse who provided the coffee showed me a short cut through the hospital to get back to the car park.  

B was feeling much better than I expected and hadn’t been given any strong analgesics, so he drove home, whilst I navigated. There are roadworks on the main route, so we are having to use minor cross country roads. We don’t have satnav in the car, it being so old, so I have to use my phone.

Time for a rest before collecting Amber and having dinner. R & S called in past to check that we were OK.

We are pleased that this is over. Fingers crossed that the outcome is favourable.
