Back Again

Into Bradford to our old dance studio where we rehearsed for our performance at the Alhambra.
All our group of Elders (over 60s) and about eight dancers from the women’s group worked together this afternoon.
We are doing some sections from the dances my group were in and the women are being included so it’s all rather different. 
It all went well and we are now ready to do six hours filming for the TV programme.
We meet tomorrow at 10am until 4pm at Salts Mill and will use different locations of the site to record the dance, some changes could be made because of the weather.
The completed programme will be on BBC Four and it’s planned to be broadcast in November.
The best part of today was seeing my dance friends, we had become a close group over the past months.

I called into the new Darley Street Market and was quite impressed, it was really busy and there were lots of stalls to tempt me back.
