Crippled

Took the punctured wheel off in the morning and spent some time calling people, tyre shops and the insurance company to sort out what to do. I managed to convince the insurance person that this is indeed an accident that should be covered by my insurance, so if it must be replaced, they will pay most of it. The deductible is quite substantial though.

I managed to borrow a trailer big enough to transport the wheel to a tyre shop with the van in the aftenoon. Not sure I chose the right shop for the job though, as they had a hard time deciding whether a patch would work or a new tyre is needed. If it is, it will take some time to get one, as the nearest one in their supply chain is in Sweden.

It was the coolest day in a while, "just" +24°C, but it didn't feel cool at all because of high humidity. It didn't rain (just), which was a relief, as the last batch of hay was still waiting for baling. The baler came so late that there was soon too much dew, so it had to be delayed further.
