Poignant
I caught up on a few nights of poor sleep because unlike the last one, my room for the next week has the novel contraption of an opening window. The weather was fairly schizophrenic with hot sun, chilly winds and ever-shifting light as I crossed Regent’s Canal near to King’s Cross.
It’s a public holiday today in Tanzania and therefore I prolonged my leave for one day by not working. I did one of those ‘stroll all over London aimlessly’ type of days, which felt very poignant twenty years to the day since the 7/7 London bombings.
