Migrant Hawker
With Henri absent watching cricket, Phil and I had reached the 11th this morning when the heavens opened with very little warning. Once the rain had abated we headed straight to the 16th and played the last 3 holes.
This afternoon we picked up Sophie from school for the last time this school year. She showed us her end of year report, which made us very proud, containing lots of praise for her attitude to learning and her kindness and friendliness to all members of the school community. We took her out for and end of year meal to celebrate. She chose our local Lounge Bar.
Found this dragonfly, a Migrant Hawker apparently, wallowing in a bucket of rain water. Placed it on this plant container but it was beyond help, I’m afraid.
