Spotted thintail

Continuing the exploration of hoverflies, this is Meliscaeva auricollis.  It's much tinier than the marmalade hoverflies, which may explain the thintail part of its common name, but I don't see any spots.  Meantime, butterflies are very scarce - I've just seen a couple of small whites.
