St Fillans
I decided to go for a longish walk today: from the flat up Glen Boltachan to the Loch, then over the hill to St Fillans (blip). I saw no one. I’d a much needed bacon roll at the wee village shop then walked out to the old Iron Age fort on a rocky outcrop called Dundrum. I got to the top (xtra) but it involved battling through bracken and in all honesty this is a climb I won’t repeat at this time of year. Anyway, there was a decent view from the top up the Glen and once I got down it was an easy couple of miles along the old railway liner to our flat on the Dunira estate. A grand day out.
