Geese Overload

Today we went to Poolsbrook Country Park near Chesterfield with Florence our 5 year old granddaughter.  We went for the play area and a picnic, which went well. But for me the most striking feature of the visit was the amount of goose poo there was to step around. And the grass was soooo short because it was constantly cropped by many hungry beaks.

Too much goose poo all over the paths and grassy areas is rather off putting, even if the outlook was pleasant. Nature and wildlife interacting with us humans.
