Evening in Vannes
After breakfast, around 10 o'clock, we left one of the most special, quirky and interesting B&B I've ever stayed in and drove to the westernmost point of mainland France, Pointe de Corsen, with a short stop in Ploumoguer.
Interesting to see the view from this rural shore out to the big ocean and the islands nearby.
Then we drove to Brest and had a light lunch in Kafé Kanggui after an uphill walk from the harbour. Brest has none of the charm I've found almost everywhere I've been here in France, so we didn't spend much time there.
We'd booked rooms for the night in Vannes and we were there around 18:30, hungry and tired.
Luckily we got a table at a nice Italian restaurant, Villa Romana, with balcony seating on a terrace overlooking the lovely garden beside the ramparts (you see it in the middle of today's photo).
Two extra photos today.
