EPA administrator Zeldin announced Friday that the EPA is shutting down the office that analyzes the dangers posed by hazardous materials, toxic chemicals, deadly smog, also-deadly wildfires, indoor air pollution, outdoor air pollution, watershed pollution, drinking water pollution, freshwater pollution, land pollution, and phlogiston pollution. According to him, freeing the EPA from reliable, updated information on those threats will make the agency “better equipped than ever to deliver on our core mission of protecting human health and the environment.”
