Hat sorting

I realised when I was staying with Cousin TBay recently that the family supply of summer hats is probably best centralised at the farm in Somerset. So today I brought all my hats out of storage to offer them to Cousin Miss TBay (TBay's daughter) tomorrow. She is breaking her journey in Edinburgh en route to Ardgay for her summer holiday with her (other) cousins at their highland home. Hopefully Miss Tbay will have room in her car for my proposed contributions to the family hat collection.

Today I have exercised, made a sweep of the Stockbridge charity shops looking for picture frames of a particular size (no luck there, but I did buy myself a very new looking black belted padded Barbour jacket for the autumn), had a hospital appointment (all seems OK), brewed soup (creamy coconut spiced squash and lemongrass AKA 'we need to do something with these random left-overs' flavour), cooked a squash and baby sweetcorn bake for supper, and put on a load of washing overnight to hang out in the garden first thing tomorrow before I head south for my Thursday visit to Newcastle. Amongst all this, emails and WhatsApp messages have flown back and forth, mainly about Mummy hazelh and the auctions.

Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; aquafit class; walking (23,599 steps).
