Today was a good day.

Cracking day today with G – the collage shows her up in the pop top of Vanessa the Van, where we ended up after a full-on afternoon.

Started with badminton. I’m absolutely knackered and fully expect my arms to fall off tomorrow.
Then bubbles. I’m now so sticky with the gooey solution, I was genuinely worried I’d start bubbling up if I got too sweaty.

Then into Vanessa – pop top up, table out, bed down (that was my favourite bit).

We played card games and laughed so hard my eyelids turned inside out. 

She had such a good time she told me her mum and dad could go somewhere else after the dentist – she didn’t want me to go home. I told her to remember that feeling for the next time they go out, as she usually gets really bad separation anxiety when Mum or both are out.

All in all – today was a good one.
