The willow tree

We had a very windy day here last week. A huge branch of the huge willow tree that's in front of the old Oats Barn, cracked and almost broke all the way off. It was still attached to the tree (barely) and the lower limbs were holding it up like a tripod. 

We asked friends on the island and they recommended someone. But then Steve's cousin came to the island and said he could help. He has a landscaping business and was getting an excavator for his own cottage to clear some bushes. Wow! He did a great job.
