Manchester moments

I left Cs just after 10 this morning to go directly to a meeting in Manchester at 1pm.

At 11 I was sat in 3 lanes of crawling traffic on the M18, a vehicle fire, an electric car again by the looks of things, its two occupants were wrapped in foil blankets sat on the grass verge, looked ok thankfully!

At 12 I was queuing on the Woodhead Pass, due to roadworks, single file lights were in place.

Remarkably at precisely 2 I was parking up opposite our meeting venue, having said i’d be at least 15 mins late.

I’m one of five now on the retired pensioners committee for our previous employers. Today we met up to fold our annual communication, stuff envelopes, stick on address labels & 2nd class stamps….. we did all 450 of them in 2.5 hrs.

After a quick coffee we went our separate ways, home for me, as I was leaving I saw this newly qualified student with presumably a parent, I quickly snapped today’s blip :-)!
