A fantastic day the South Uist Highland Games. Both girls were competing in dances all morning and did very well, as did the entire dance team. Rowan won the swords and the reel and now has her penultimate stamp before she can move up to the next level. She’s also being filmed alongside a couple of her pals for a new BBC Alba tv series about growing up in Uist - so she had to squeeze in some interviews amongst the outfit changes!

Meanwhile Muireann was off competing in the sports events, including the sprint and the egg and spoon. She also teamed up with Olivia for the wheelbarrow which would have gone well had she aimed for the finish line!
