(204) Sunburst Finish
Long-ish lie today after a late finish yesterday (taxi duty to Glasgow), then a day of catching up with outdoors DIY jobs. Our wooden 'companion seat' is long overdue for a coat of paint/preservative so I wasn't too surprised to find a few bits of wood that really need replaced. I'm not great at parting with things and so, also not surprisingly, I found a couple of pieces of wood that 'will come in handy one day,' actually come in handy today. Seat has been partially dismantled, fully rebuilt, partially sanded down, and ready now for finishing off tomorrow. It has been a very warm and humid day here and sitting down with a cold beer is a great idea. However, and excuse me while I adjust my halo, I went out for a cycle instead.
Blip today is from 'Lady's Walk', a path between Woodside and Coaltown of Balgonie, taken as the sun briefly appeared from behind a bank of cloud.
I'm going to throw in a YouTube link here as well, completely unrelated to anything in my Blipland, but discovered after an online chat with an old friend, who has many musical talents. To paraphrase an old Genesis lyric 'I know what I like, and I like what I know' so I'd probably never choose to listen to an André Rieu concert but then I'd miss out on this wonderful performance.
