New Orleans Street Music

If I were putting together a trio, I never would have imagined these three instruments playing together, and that would be my loss. What a wonderful group to find at the Market this afternoon, playing mellow old-time jazz and bringing smiles to so many faces. Veteran street musician Christopher Booth has been playing violin with the larger band Eight Dice Cloth for many years, living in New Orleans and popping up here from time to time in various local groups. I’m so glad we needed fruit this afternoon—we had a great soundtrack for our shopping.
