Bluebird K7

On the 23rd July 1955 Donald Campbell clocked a record 202.32 mph on Ullswater in Bluebird K7.  The rebuilt K7 visited Ullswater to celebrate his achievement 70years to the day.
I got down there early with Roger from PDCC to beat the crowds which was a great decision as it got pretty busy when the media arrived interviewing members of the Campbell family and people from the Ruskin Museum where K7 usually resides in Coniston.
There were some fine cars parked up which I've included in the collage extra.  Ferrari 308, Austin Healey 3000 and Jensen Interceptor II
A great morning out.
