Thistle

Our lane is getting very overgrown at the moment. Mostly with these thistles.
Went to my embroidery group this morning and at one point there were 8 ladies there. Just a few weeks ago we were down to 3. I almost finished a project that I started in March (about 10 more minutes needed) so I was glad to see the back of it. What to do next?
