Hidcote Manor Gardens

Today we visited Hidcote Manor Gardens in the Cotswolds. It's only 20 minutes from our friends' house where I'm currently staying, and is a stunning place to visit. When we lived in the area we would visit Hidcote several times a year as it looks quite different throughout the seasons. There are quite a few National Trust places in the area so it was difficult to choose one. 
The popular Hidcote Lavender was named after these gardens as were several other plants. 
I shall be driving back home to Devon tomorrow morning after a relaxing few days.
