Harvey Littlejohn

We said goodbye to Harvey today, a lot of us, as he was a larger than life character who would have been 100 years old in November.  It was a beautiful service and we learned about Harvey's earlier life, which was very interesting. 

We had known him for about 35 years, and also his wife Chris, long departed those 25 years or so, and it was good to share some memories of Harvey with his two sons, one who is his spitting image.

There was a very nice reception afterwards at the Torrance, and it was a busy and noisy event.  It was a real celebration and Harvey would have loved it.

The closing of the ceremony was accompanied by 'Goodbye' from the 'White Horse Inn' which Harvey used to sing robustly.
