Cornflowers

Another very muggy day and not too much sunshine.

After doing some shopping I donned my gardening gloves, grabbed my small fork and started digging out the dandelion roots which cannot be removed by just pulling.

There are quite a few patches of wild flowers in the parks and grass verges. This year white is the predominant colour but there are some lovely blue cornflowers and a few wild poppies.
