Sir Billy Boston

Knighted last month after a very long-overdue wait, the first Knight of Rugby League!
Billy had a stellar career with Wigan after leaving the valleys of Cardiff as a youngster, scoring 478 tries in 488 games, as well as 25 tries in 32 Great Britain games.
He’s now 90 years young, and greets anyone who speaks to him, as his best friend, with a ready smile and chuckle! He was delighted to get a hug from this young lady today!
