Unexpected item in watering can!

I've no idea how long this frog had been in the watering can but when I filled it today he appeared at the top! I went back later and couldn't see him so hope it relocated to somewhere more comfortable.

My extra is of Beau who when we got back from some errands refused to go home, three times he came back into mine. There was an incident when a man walked towards me. I hadn't seen him but Jo said he came through the bushes, and very close to Beau, who then barked at him. Jo intervened, Beau barked more and then she kicked him twice. Not hard enough to make him yelp but he was very sad all the way home. I felt horrible taking him back.
