Cymbidium orchid

My lovely cymbidium orchid, also known as a boat orchid, is giving a wonderful display of flowers this year.  These are easy orchids to grow, they like to be in a light but not direct sunlight, though this one has survived the kitchen window sill when I've forgotten to move it on a hot day.  In the wild, they happily grows on trees or rocks and come here they can be found in a variety of colours as house plants, they don't like the cold.
