Coals and Newcastle

Busy day...

In the morning I was at Holyrood to show a friend's son around - he is thinking of studying politics at university. His mum was there too and we had a good natter over lunch in the staff cafeteria. 

In the afternoon I had an occupational health assessment. It went very well. I will be fine as long as I keep taking the pills. I think I knew that, but it is nice to have these things affirmed by an experienced professional. 

One of the day's highlights came on the bus home as we overtook a Chevrolet Corvette going up the hill on the northbound M90. The bus driver looked very pleased with himself. 

I got my Blip inside the Parliament building. I was wondering if I would enjoy a political event there next month. Maybe.
