The Northern Concordia singers, Lincoln Catherdral

A bit of Culture today, Showed Mandy the carvings that I showed the Mindful mile group in May, Then lunch in the cathedral cafe, before the recital.
The recital was giving by "The Northern Concordia Singers " with a range from William Byrd with a piece dedicated to Thomas Tallis to to Orlando Gibbons with his "Cries of London"
2 of the singers were also organists so the singing was divided by 2 solos by one organist and a 4 part piece by the other organist.
Just for good measure we then proceeded to Mandy's house playing and listening to each other on the piano.
What a wonderful day
