Santa Maria

One for Wildflower Week - thanks for hosting Miranda.

Feverfew, as we commonly know it in the UK. Also goes by the name of Santa Maria, Bachelor’s buttons, Mother-herb, midsummer daisy and a few others.

Tanacetum parthenium. Part of the daisy family, understandably!

A good weather day today which meant the huge pile of fleeces were washed, dried and put away. I keep the settee covered for obvious canine reasons and wash them all in one go, followed by a drum wash cycle so the machine is human clothes ready again. Plus, Callum has been out all day today so the constant noise of the washing machine has only been a nuisance to me and eventually it blends into background white noise as I did other  mundane chores.

A good dog walk this morning passing the post office/box to send some papers off, then back alongside the allotments where I knew I’d find something worth blipping.
