Transitioning

After getting local SIMs in our cheap Android phones yesterday, today's transitioning tasks included checking the internet at our local hotel tomorrow from where I will have to work as Dd needs quiet in the apartment to listen to her test recordings, and the first exchange of euros to local currency.   We also both did some desk work and Dd suffered the Yahoo outage which resulted in some wondering and worrying as to whether if it was only her problem or not!

We did start the day with a walk along the beach front, again enjoying weather that made this possible at 9am, as opposed to something impossible to do at the same time under the Brazilan December-January sun!
