Culpeper Garden

Today it was just Leanne and me. We needed to debrief the debrief meeting ;)
One piece of good news is that I have been summonsed to a meeting with HR to sort out the contract that has been agreed in principle for Leanne. A whole year on, but getting there!
We did get a lot of admin and future plans initiated and then I left her to get on with her own stuff and defrosting the fridge! 
We had discovered last week that the ice box was no longer in existence, it was just ice, inside and out. To be honest I’m surprised the fridge was still working! 
I had suggested using a hair dryer so Leanne had brought one in. Maybe I should have thought a little more, but would I even think twice about defrosting a fridge. Later Leanne rang to say she had had to turn the fridge back on because the floor was flooding - she didn’t have enough towels. I did not understand and was confused. She explained that she had used the hairdryer, removed some chinks of ice and left it to defrost on its own. It never occurred to me that something as simple as we used to do all the time - like putting the washing up bowl in the fridge to collect the water wasn’t on the radar of someone in their early thirties who had never had to defrost a fridge before. Oh the luxury of self defrosting appliances.
Anyway, she is collecting more towels and bowls from home tomorrow to finish the job! I will be working from home :)
